The 11th Circuit affirms a Florida District Court decision dismissing a case in which the plaintiff had sought to reinstate a jury verdict in Connecticut District Court, which had been set aside, appealed to the 2nd Circuit, which certified a question of law to the Connecticut Supreme Court, which affirmed the District Court, and then the 2nd Circuit Affirmed the District Court. Yes, that really happened. Essex v. WKA. Our client won. June 18, 2020.

The Connecticut Supreme Court issues its decision in Essex v. WKA, a case that Attorney Kriesen won in Federal District Court on a post verdict motion, which was appealed to the Second Circuit, which sent the case to the Connecticut Supreme Court, which ruled in favor of Attorney Kriesen’s client.
